    Thursday, June 17, from 12:00 - 1:30 pm, DPS’ Sgt. Kelly Mitchell will share practical aspects of personal safety, emphasizing self-awareness and assertiveness skills as well as physical and verbal strategies to counter-violence. The goal is to leave you better equipped to deal with everything from harassment to potentially violent situations. You will be armed with options to physically defend yourself in the event that unforeseen, dangerous circumstances arise. This will be a virtual, interactive 1-hour session with additional time for Q&As. Brown DPS is happy to partner with Brown’s Wellness Program, you can sign up in workday

    Attend a virtual Stop the Bleed Course and earn Wellness Points too! Brown DPS is partnering with Wellness and offering a course for people who are interested in learning this lifesaving skill. The program is scheduled for  Thursday, July 8, 2021, from 12 - 1 pm. Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action. Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
