Timely Warning

The Brown University Department of Public Safety provides this notice in compliance with the Timely Notice provision of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act.

Incident

On Thursday, August 18, 2022, 2022 at approximately 5:00 pm, the Brown University Department of Public Safety was notified by a community member that they observed a swastika carved into a wall panel in Barus and Holley.

This matter is under investigation by the Brown University Department of Public Safety. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Brown University Department of Public Safety at 401-863-3322.
