Timely Warning
The Brown University Department of Public Safety provides this notice in compliance with the Timely Notice provision of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act.
Incident
On Tuesday, April 11th, 2024, at approximately 5:50 PM, a community member notified the Brown University Department of Public Safety of a stolen motor vehicle. The community member stated that she parked her car on Brook Street at 9:00 AM, and when she returned at 5:00 PM, it was gone. The community member reported the theft to the Providence Police Department. This matter is under investigation by the Providence Police Department and the Brown University Department of Public Safety. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Providence Police at 401-272-3121 or the Brown University Department of Public Safety at 401-863-3322.
